Attached to the Butchery and Deli, Alpine restaurant is seen as an opportunity for customers to experience first-hand the quality of the meat they are buying. Seating over 70 people, the restaurant offers the relaxed charm of a neighbourhood restaurant. Its location makes it an ideal place to bring the family for dinner or to have a business meeting. Patrons are able to be seated either inside the restaurant for an intimate dining experience or outside to enjoy a more relaxed al fresco experience while watching the beautiful Gauteng sunsets. The menu is extensive, offering not only air dried steaks and pizza, but also interesting Bulgarian and European dishes such as Bulgarian soups, traditionally prepared Eisbein with sauerkraut, or slow roasted lamb shanks. Portions are both beautifully presented and generous. To enhance the dining experience we have an extensive private wine cellar with the perfect wines to complement your meal. The well trained staff are able to advise customers according to their personal tastes and dishes they have ordered. Alpine Restaurant has had several wine appreciation and tasting evenings. The Restaurant regularly caters for functions both at the restaurant and also private functions outside the restaurant. With simplicity and great food in mind, Alpine focuses on the theatre of enjoyment and the value of appreciation. As the regulars would say, “It just keeps getting better”.
